The Trufrost single door visi cooler is the small end of the range: cabinets you put on or beside a counter rather than against a wall. Both the VC 50 and VC 100 run 2°C to 8°C behind a glass door with LED lighting, on R134a.

The number that surprises people is the power draw. Both models pull 65W. That is less than most ceiling fans, which is why these end up in offices, salons, and small retail counters where the electricity bill matters more than the capacity.

The difference between the two is height, not footprint. The VC 50 is 20 inches tall with 2 shelves. The VC 100 is 33 inches tall with 4 shelves, on the same 18 by 20 inch base. So if your counter space is fixed but you need more stock facing the customer, the VC 100 gives you double the shelves without taking another inch of surface.

Neither has a lock or wheels, which is worth knowing if the unit will sit somewhere unattended.
