The Trufrost gelato batch freezer puts the whole process of making ice cream, gelato, sorbet or Italian ice in your own kitchen rather than buying it in, with the ability to fold in fruits, nuts, candies or flavour inclusions directly as the product is drawn into the container.

Three sizes scale by hourly production. The GBF 10 produces 8 litres an hour from a 5.1 litre cylinder. The GBF 20 produces 15 litres an hour from a larger cylinder. The GBF 40 is the largest, producing 30 litres an hour from an 8 litre cylinder, and adds features suited to higher-volume use: a single-touch dispensing door, a product chute for transferring straight into dipping cabinets, an adjustable mix flow regulator, and a safety interlock that stops the beater when the door opens.

Refrigerant differs by size: the GBF 10 runs R134a, the GBF 20 and GBF 40 run R404A.
